Boalemo Regency, Kominfotik – A total of 328 Beneficiary Families (KPM), consisting of the elderly and people with disabilities in Boalemo Regency, have begun receiving the Gorontalo Provincial Government’s Direct Food Assistance (BLP3G). The assistance was handed over by Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, accompanied by the Vice Regent of Boalemo, Lahmudin Hambali, and the Head of the Gorontalo Provincial Social Affairs and Civil Registration Office, Reflin Buata, at the Tilamuta District Office on Saturday (March 7, 2026).
Vice Governor Idah Syahidah explained that the distribution of this aid is part of a series of working visits now entering their fifth day, targeting three priority regencies in Gorontalo Province.
“Alhamdulillah, today marks the fifth day that I, along with the Head of the Social Affairs Office and the team, have conducted a marathon visit to three priority regencies. The BLP3G program was initially planned for 5,000 KPM throughout Gorontalo Province. However, due to budget efficiencies, the number of recipients was adjusted to 3,000 KPM,” said Idah.
Despite this, the Provincial Government continues to ensure that the assistance is well-targeted by prioritizing the elderly and people with disabilities who fall into the category of extreme poverty.
Idah also took the opportunity to invite the people of Boalemo to continue supporting the development programs carried out by both the Gorontalo Provincial Government and the Boalemo Regency Government.
A total of 328 KPM who received aid on this occasion, the recipients were distributed as follows: 112 KPM from Dulupi District, 111 KPM from Tilamuta, 67 KPM from Botumoito, and 38 KPM from Mananggu District. Overall, the total number of BLP3G recipients in Boalemo Regency has reached 828 KPM.
Each BLP3G assistance package consists of 10 kilograms of rice, 2 liters of cooking oil, 1 kilogram of granulated sugar, and 10 chicken eggs, with a total value of Rp252,460 per package.
