Governor Gusnar Instructs Civil Servants to Remain on Standby During Holidays
Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail has requested that Civil Servants (ASN) within the Gorontalo Provincial Government remain on standby throughout the national holiday and collective leave period for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. This message was delivered while leading the Korpri assembly ahead of the long break at the Gorontalo Archaeological Museum yard on Tuesday (March 17, 2026).
According to Gusnar, although the holiday period is quite long, the public activities that rely on government services do not stop. In fact, community dynamics are expected to increase during this period.
”Please enjoy your holiday and reunite with your families, but remain on standby. Continue to monitor the situation and provide a quick response if there are matters that the government must handle,” Gusnar said.
A Shared Responsibility for Public Service
He emphasized that all civil servants are an integral part of the government with a responsibility to serve the public. Therefore, this role must be maintained even during holidays.
”All of you are the government. Do not think that the ‘government’ is only the Governor or Vice Governor; everyone present here is the government and a servant of the people,” Gusnar asserted.
A key indicator of readiness emphasized by the Governor was ensuring that communication devices remain active during the break. This is crucial to ensure that coordination can proceed swiftly should the need arise at any time.
Furthermore, Gusnar invited all ASN to maintain solidarity and strengthen cooperation in carrying out government duties. He believes that good communication between work units will streamline the execution of tasks and prevent service bottlenecks.
”We are all the same; only our responsibilities differ. Therefore, we need to support one another and communicate so that work is not hindered,” he added.
Presentations and Decrees
During the assembly, Governor Gusnar, accompanied by Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie and Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim, presented several official documents and benefits, including:
Retirement Decrees (SK Pensiun).
Old Age Benefits (JHT) from PT Taspen Gorontalo Branch.
Retirement grants from the Korpri Gorontalo Province branch.
