Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail officially launched the Gorontalo Open Data application, dubbed “Pentagon,” at the Dulohupa Room of the Governor’s Office on Monday (May 18, 2026). On this occasion there were also Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie and the Australian Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia, Gita Kamath.
The “Pentagon” application is the result of a collaboration between the Synergy and Collaboration for Acceleration of Basic Service Delivery (SKALA) program and the Gorontalo Provincial Government. SKALA is an Australia-Indonesia partnership program designed to support the Indonesian government in its efforts to reduce poverty and inequality by improving the provision of basic services to the public.
Governor Gusnar warmly welcomed the launch of the “Pentagon” application. He expressed his gratitude to the Australian Embassy and the SKALA Team for making an integrated data center a reality in Gorontalo Province.
Governor Gusnar emphasized that the existence of data in the digital era has become critically important. However, he warned that digitalization is like a double-edged sword, carrying both positive and negative impacts.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Department of Communications, Informatics, and Statistics, Mohammad Trizal Entengo, explained that “Pentagon” is an implementation of the Satu Data Indonesia (One Data Indonesia) program. The utilization of this data is expected to streamline the planning and evaluation processes for governments at the regency/city, provincial, and central levels.
”The Department of Communications, Informatics, and Statistics developed this data portal, which currently manages 506 sectoral data points from various Regional Government Agencies (OPD). This figure of 506 data points within the Pentagon portal will continue to grow dynamically. God willing, we will continue to refine and complete all data from the OPDs,” Trizal explained.
Currently, “Pentagon” is integrated with several national portals, including:
Satu Data Indonesia (SDI)
Satu Data Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (SDPDN)
Data Tunggal Sosial dan Ekonomi Nasional (DTSEN)
SEPAKAT
The Geospatial Information Agency (BIG)
Infoumkm.id
BPS (Statistics Indonesia)
At the local government level, the portal is already integrated with Satu Data Gorontalo Utara (North Gorontalo One Data).
