Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, along with the Free Nutritious Meal Task Force (Satgas MBG) of Gorontalo Province, conducted another surprise inspection (sidak) of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) on Wednesday (4/8/2026).
Unlike previous inspections which were conducted privately, information regarding this inspection was announced publicly via social media. However, the specific locations remained confidential to maintain the objectivity of the field monitoring results.
During the activity, the Vice Governor and the team reviewed two SPPGs in Gorontalo Regency that have been operating for approximately two months, and two others that have been operational for more than four months. Based on the inspection, several aspects were identified as requiring immediate evaluation and improvement, particularly regarding the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Key findings included the storage methods for food samples, the management of ready-to-eat meals, and the handling of food ingredients that did not meet standards. Among these were the rice cooling process, which was not conducted in the proper area, and the processing of food items such as fruit that failed to meet technical requirements.

Furthermore, the results of this inspection will serve as evaluation material for the National Nutrition Agency to enhance the quality of service for the beneficiaries of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG).
The two primary locations for the inspection were the Luhu SPPG and the West Pilohayanga SPPG in Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency, which serve 894 and 994 food portions per day, respectively.
Following this, the Vice Governor and the team also inspected the SPPG in West Pentadio, Telaga Biru District, as well as the West Wongkaditi SPPG in Gorontalo City, each of which manages approximately 2,000 food portions per day.
